Dog in a chef's hat making candy corn frozen treat

This Halloween, let your pup join in on the fun with these adorable Candy Corn Pupsicle— a festive frozen treat made with just three simple, dog-safe ingredients! While you’re snacking on sweets, your furry friend can enjoy a cool, creamy “no tricks, just treats” moment of their own. These frozen goodies are not only eye-catching with their candy-corn layers but also healthy, easy to make, and tail-waggingly delicious. Perfect for spooky season celebrations or anytime your dog deserves a little something special!

Ingredients:

  • 1 can of 100% pure pumpkin puree (not pumpkin pie filling)
  • 2 cans of pineapple chunks, drained and pureed in a blender until smooth OR
  • 1 banana
  • 5 cups of plain or Greek yogurt (xylitol free)

How to make:

You can purchase a silicone pizza slice mold from Amazon to get the candy corn shape, but these can also be made in small plastic cups with carrots for popsicle sticks.

Start with the yogurt, followed by a layer of pumpkin puree, and then the pureed pineapple. Freeze for about 3 hours until firm.

Serve outdoors as frozen treats melt and pumpkin can stain carpets. Then share photos of their happy faces!
Makes 8 servings

🎃 Bonus:

If your dog doesn’t like these, you can enjoy them! Throw them into a blender and make yourself a pumpkin pineapple smoothie (and maybe add a little rum for a pumpkin pineapple colada)!

We are not pet nutritionists or Veterinarians. Even healthy treats can cause an upset stomach if your dog eats too many — just like anything else, too much of a good thing can still be bad for them. Consult with your veterinarian if your dog has any dietary restrictions or allergies.
